Science
The science behind magic places.
01
Biophilic Design
Biophilic design integrates natural elements such as plants, daylight and organic materials into the built environment to strengthen the connection between people and nature. Studies show that this approach lowers cortisol levels, increases concentration and supports mental health in urban environments.
02
Intermittent Hypoxia-Hyperoxia Training (IHHT)
Through the controlled alternation between low-oxygen and high-oxygen air, mitochondria are activated: old, underperforming ones are broken down, new healthy ones are formed. The principle is based on the same cellular mechanisms for whose discovery Kaelin, Ratcliffe and Semenza received the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physiology.
03
InfraredSauna
Regular infrared heat activates heat shock proteins – cellular repair mechanisms that inhibit inflammation and recycle damaged proteins. This process of autophagy was described in 2016 by Nobel laureate Yoshinori Ohsumi as a fundamental self-cleansing mechanism of our cells. A Finnish longitudinal study with over 2,300 participants over 20 years also showed that regular sauna use can reduce cardiovascular risk by up to 50%.

Five Moves
Why the body decides.
The body reacts first
Physical reactions occur before conscious thoughts. The brain interprets afterwards, emotions are physical states. Talking alone doesn't change the body – transformation must begin in the body.
Emotions have an address
Neuropeptides store emotions in tissue – "butterflies in the stomach" and "lump in the throat" are measurable reactions, not metaphors. The body is the subconscious, and blocks are localisable.
No change without safety
The autonomic nervous system has three states: ventral vagal (safety), sympathetic (fight/flight) and dorsal vagal (shutdown). Safety is not a precondition for change – safety is the change.
The heart sends more than it receives
The heart field is 60 times stronger than the brain field and electromagnetically measurable over several metres. Heart coherence influences others – nervous systems synchronise.
Self-discovered = anchored
External advice creates weak neural connections that are quickly forgotten. Self-discovered insights form strong connections – they persist.
Breathing controls the nervous system
Six breaths per minute create optimal heart rate variability. Longer exhalation activates the vagus nerve – conscious breathing provides direct access to the autonomic nervous system.
